Choice Homecare - Quality

Our Purpose.

Choice Homecare will help you find that special live-in care-worker who:

Provides care tailored to your needs and preferences

Gives you the control and choice over your care, and enables you to live in your home without compromising your independent spirit

We also support your care-workers:

To meet your needs and expectations, through ongoing training and supervision.

Choice Homecare is considered an introduction agency because the care-workers are self-employed. We feel this is vitally important because it gives you, the ultimate control over your care.

A policy of continual improvement

In order to make sure we meet all your expectations, we:

Regularly review our policies and procedures, asking our clients to complete a survey every year, rating our service.

We keep records which meet a high standard and complete supervision meetings with care-workers on a regular basis.

We ask all care-workers to complete a questionnaire on their placement, to ensure your needs and wishes are catered for.

We comply with all Care Quality Commission monitoring activities

Insurance Cover.

At Choice Homecare we take our legal responsibilities veryseriously.

We have the following insurance cover:

Public Liability: This covers any damaged property or injury to a third party as a result of the negligence of the Agency.

Employer’s liability: This covers the care-workers from harm or injury resulting from the negligence of the Agency.

Things to consider:

It is good practice to ensure that your home contents insurance contains a personal liability clause, which would cover the care-worker if they were hurt within your home.

If you require the care-worker to drive, then your car insurer would need to be informed of this.
