Who are our
care-workers?.
Our care workers are carefully vetted and go through a
rigourous
interview process and then attend an inductuion course, where they are
trained to deliver a high level of care.
All our care-workers have enhanced CRB checks, and have been
carefully interviewed to ensure their suitability for providing quality
care.
We register 2 types of care-workers:
- Companion Care-workers
- Premier Care-workers
Companion
Care-workers.
- Prepare appetising meals
- Complete household chores. E.g dusting, laundry and ironing
- Accompany you on outings
- Assist with shopping, bills and other correspondence
- Provide companionship
- Drive (if required)
- Provide light assistance with washing and dressing.
Premier Care-workers
Do all a companion care-worker may do plus:
- Assist with eating, washing, dressing and toileting
- Assist with a bath or shower
- Help move you safely using a particular method
- Use equipment, which may require special training e.g.
Hoists
- Attend to the needs of clients with particular conditions
e.g. Dementia
- Are skilled at working closely with other health
professionals
